Mission Service Dogs Field Trip

website25208

At St. John’s Catholic School, we strive to create opportunities that reflect truth, goodness, and beauty. Service is more than just an action—it’s a way of living. Today, our 6th-grade class gave back to Mission Working Dogs, an organization that raises and trains purpose-bred dogs for veterans and therapy dog caregivers in the community.

Led by Christy Gardner, founder and president, the students helped clean kennels, rake the grounds, and reset cabins for veterans and therapy dog caregivers bonding with their new service dogs right on-site. The students were amazing, showing compassion and dedication. They even brought treats and food to support the organization.

Service shapes our hearts and strengthens our community. We are so proud of our students for embracing the call to serve!
