Eclipse Field Trip

We had an unnforgettable Middle School Faith Formation Retreat and Solar Eclipse Totality adventure on April 8th at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Dover-Foxcroft!  From discovering hidden biblical gems to unleashing our inner scientists with jaw-dropping experiments and mind-bending math challenges, the excitement was off the charts! Picture-perfect skies and highs of 58 degrees set the stage for an epic journey.

Equipped with ISO certified solar glasses, we were on cloud nine witnessing the awe-inspiring solar eclipse, merging faith and science in one breathtaking moment of totality.

A massive thanks to art teacher Mrs. Weiss for the crafty keepsakes, Father Lupo and the faith formation director Melissa Wanat for their warm welcome, and to Pat's Pizza Dover Foxcroft for fueling our minds with dozens of pre-ordered meals!

Lastly, a special note of appreciation for our amazing teachers and volunteer parent chaperones for making this day a true blast!

As one student put it, “This experience has opened my eyes to the miracles all around us.” Here's to more thrilling adventures ahead!
